I am mad at Buddy right now. He took his pillow outside and tore it to pieces! He sure is going to miss it tonight cause I am not sewing it back together...again. I have repaired it a hundred times already.
If memory serves me well, Cheryl, carpal tunnel affects the pinkie and ring fingers first. Only in the morning did I have full hand numbness, to the point where it traveled up my arm. I was working in a deli at the time, and the constant use of the slicer caused the problem.
When I injured my shoulders (I painted our apt with no help), the numbness would affect my first two fingers (thumb, and index finger) first, and it was accompanied with quite a bit of pain. So, it's my guess that your injury is indeed in your neck and shoulder. I hope and pray, mostly pray, that the injury heals, and that you feel well real soon!
Likewise, I could use some prayers, too. The incision where the cyst was removed back in June opened up, and has a good sized hole in it, causing me much concern. More than that, my right thumb is aching so much that it needs a second cortisone shot. The last one I had hurt so much, I actually cried myself to sleep that night. Not looking forward to another night like that. The cortisone shot in the left thumb didn't hurt that much, but I suppose it is because of where it was injected. Anyway...what's up with the "thumb" thing!!!!
